I started Gray Girl Jewelry in 2018, following a frustrating encounter with a jewelry store owner who was appalled that I would even consider moissanite for my engagement ring. That experience fueled my anger—why should I be judged for my preferences? Customers anywhere shouldn't face that kind of treatment!
This led me on a mission to find stunning moissanite at affordable prices, specializing in harder to find gray & colored moissanite. At that time, the market seemed polarized—either very expensive options or low-quality choices, with no middle ground. Through trial and error, I discovered some of the best suppliers in the industry, offering consistently phenomenal quality at reasonable prices.
Just a year later, I opened my hybrid jewelry and gift shop, LuLu's (a fun, upbeat, non-judgmental store), where I could showcase these beautiful gems and jewelry. Soon enough, I had people coming from all over to see them, as finding moissanite in stores is still quite rare, particularly colored moissanite, which makes up the majority of my collection!
